COVID-19 Emergency Licensing Information for TeleHealth Clinicians

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused an unprecedented need for virtual medical care as the United States adopts social distancing measures. We’re extremely grateful for the incoming support for telemedicine by clinicians.

Up until March, the United States had extremely restrictive laws preventing telemedicine from being adopted by many healthcare organizations. On March 18th, 2020, President Trump encouraged states to issue emergency licensure waivers (1135 waiver) to allow clinicians with licenses in good standing to deliver care by reciprocity.

Vivo HealthStaff has created this resource page to help clinicians, administrators, and industry leaders with up to date information on these COVID-19 emergency state laws.

Below we have enclosed a link to the Federated State Medical Board’s Emergency Waiver Requirements page.
